Network and data-center infrastructure foundations

Interpret a topology and document dependencies.

A pathway connecting foundations, guided practice and a capstone using fictional data. Explore the learning sequence and prepare before opening the lessons.

YOUR LEARNING SEQUENCE

BRING YOUR LEARNING TOGETHER

Your capstone project

Design a fictional data-center network, deliver an inventory, verify addressing and resolve two simulated incidents with reproducible evidence. Integrate the new lab: BMS alarm and root cause in a fictional room.

How to work

  • Read the explanation and example before practicing.
  • Use simulations, fictional records and local tests.
  • Document results, errors and limitations.
  • Save evidence before closing; progress is not recorded automatically.

PREPARATION

Before you begin

Functional reading, basic arithmetic and file management. Complete an entry diagnostic.

Materials in Spanish and English, browser simulators and downloadable exercises. Python exercises require Python 3.10 or later; opening this page does not install software. The introductory bridge and alternatives without software are in the student materials.
