E-Trade Together Global Academy

This is the story of this project. It is told in the third person because it is not only the story of one individual, but the story of many.

The project grew from the life experience and education of Arturo Campos, a Guatemalan economist and agronomist who graduated from the Escuela Nacional Central de Agricultura (ENCA). He later completed his Economics degree at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala and continued his education at institutions including LA City College, Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC), Chaffey College, and others, bringing together knowledge in economics, technology, and the social sciences.

He grew up in an environment of economic scarcity, where access to a university education was not a certainty, but a constant struggle. That reality taught him early that talent and ability exist throughout society, but opportunity does not.

He worked as an educator at ENCA and later trained cooperative farmers at the Centro de Estudios Cooperativos (CENDEC), both in Guatemala. Through that work, he confirmed that education transforms lives—but only when it is accessible.

As universities became increasingly expensive and practically inaccessible to people with limited resources, the idea for this project emerged: to create open, clear, and honest educational spaces where knowledge is not a privilege, but a right.

From this vision comes the principle guiding the project: We Rise Together.
