Understand the economy as a connected system
Connect economic reasoning with real human needs. Study how resources, incentives, institutions, skills and innovation shape opportunities and outcomes.
Connect economic reasoning with real human needs. Study how resources, incentives, institutions, skills and innovation shape opportunities and outcomes.
Begin with accessible questions and practical examples. Compare explanations, inspect data sources, state assumptions and recognize the limits of economic models.
Explore the relationships between labor, skills, technology, industry, capital, energy, education, trade and quality of life.

SHARED LEARNING EXPERIENCE
Each draft course uses the Academy’s shared learning format: 3 modules, 6 bilingual classes, worked examples, guided practice, 3 applied laboratories, an interactive tool, assessments, a final project and references. Authorized reviewers can inspect draft content and protected instructor solutions.
Start with a human problem and plain language, then introduce concepts, models, mathematics, data and limitations. Use sourced or clearly labeled synthetic data. Distinguish correlation from causation, forecasts from scenarios, and model results from observed outcomes.
Efficiency is multidimensional: productivity, labor, capital, innovation, energy, trade, human capital, resilience and access/well-being. A large vacancy count alone does not establish a workforce shortage. Scenarios and digital twins are research models with uncertainty.
Recommended preparation, not an active enrollment gate. ECO-00 begins with basic arithmetic and reading; ECO-03 introduces the mathematical tools needed later.
