Knowledge & People
Approved educational knowledge, cross-School collaboration, teams, skills and shared expertise.
Student Beta is available by invitation. The complete Workshop remains under construction.
This public presentation exposes no private projects, teams or evidence. Invited accounts use Academy authentication; each project requires its own authorization. New capabilities open only after storage, security and acceptance are verified.
Private access · Invitations and projectsThe Central Platform is the Academy-wide digital environment where people from different Schools connect knowledge, research, data, ideas and technical skills to work together on meaningful projects. The Autonomous Technology Workshop is the practical project-building function inside this same platform; it is not another School.
The Academy operates online through digital models, simulation, virtual laboratories, software, datasets, design files, AI-assisted learning and project documentation. It does not provide a physical campus, machine shops, electronics laboratories, robot hardware, fabrication equipment, student hardware kits or physical prototyping facilities. Simulation does not replace physical validation where required.
Bring together ideas, skills and learning from different Schools.
Work across disciplines on shared problems.
Explore solutions digitally before costly or hazardous physical work.
Create digital prototypes, software, models and evidence that can be tested and improved.
Document results, limitations and lessons so knowledge can benefit others.
Approved educational knowledge, cross-School collaboration, teams, skills and shared expertise.
Real problems, multidisciplinary challenges, community needs, technical questions and project teams.
Project inquiry, approved datasets, simulation data, evidence and measurements where available.
Models, CAD/design, software, control systems, AI experiments, virtual laboratories and parameter exploration.
Digital prototypes, system integration, testing, fault analysis, validation, revision and results.
The Central Platform connects knowledge from all nine Schools.
Science helps model and understand.
Mechanical Engineering shapes physical designs.
Electrical Engineering provides sensing, electronics and energy.
Automation & Control coordinates machines and processes.
Software Engineering builds digital systems.
AI & Perception adds intelligent analysis and perception.
Robotics integrates these capabilities into autonomous systems.
AUTONOMOUS TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP
The Workshop is the practical integration function of the Central Platform. It brings together knowledge from multiple Schools to design, simulate, prototype, test and improve responsible technical solutions.
RESPONSIBLE INNOVATION FRAMEWORK
Human Benefit > Harm.
Consider benefit, risk, privacy, safety, cybersecurity, misuse, human impact, evidence and limitations.
Normal, manageable risks. GREEN does not mean zero risk or certification; human review remains required.
Meaningful privacy, cybersecurity, AI, financial, safety, surveillance, or dual-use concerns.
Projects primarily intended to enable harm, fraud, exploitation, theft, or malicious attacks.
Authorized human reviewers record safeguards, scope limits, requests for evidence or STOP. Local construction does not establish institutional acceptance.
AI may assist research, organization, data analysis, simulation, code and comparison of alternatives. It must not fabricate evidence, replace human review become the sole safety authority or present unsupported claims as facts. Human verification remains essential.
Projects may be public, Academy members, team only, authorized reviewers or private. Actual permissions are verified server-side.
