The Academy uses verified account identity and the profile, school, skill, membership, project, contribution, consent, and communication information a member chooses to provide. We avoid collecting unnecessary sensitive personal information.

Why we use it

We use member information to provide learning and collaboration services, protect accounts, attribute contributions, administer memberships, communicate relevant updates, moderate activity, and improve the Academy.

Access and sharing

Project visibility and role permissions determine access. Financial sponsorship details are not public. We do not treat self-reported skills as independently verified. We do not sell raw member profile data.

Security and retention

Authentication and authorization are checked on the server. The Academy does not use email addresses as passwords and does not store plaintext passwords. Retention will be limited to legitimate operational, legal, safety, and audit needs.

Your choices

Members can request a data export, update communication preferences, or request account deletion from the dashboard. Some records may require limited retention for security, legal, audit, or dispute purposes.
